USAID/Rwanda intends to support a new integrated program for Profitable Ecotourism through Improved Biodiversity Conservation in Rwanda. The primary objective of this contract is to support integrated activities: To jointly accelerate rural economic growth and improve biodiversity conservation in and around Rwanda’s Nyungwe Forest National Park. This integrated program will focus on Nyungwe Forest National Park and surrounding buffer areas in southwestern Rwanda. This area was chosen because of its distinct biodiversity of notable regional and global importance, as well as its important watershed function as described in the Statement of Work.
