The Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA), a Federal agency, is seeking potential sources to provide hourly Psychiatric Consulting Services to offenders with mental infirmities who are under Parole or Probation supervision at an estimated quantity of six hours per week. The Contractor Shall: 1. prescribe medication to offenders as needed2. testify in courts as needed to affirm, and/or reaffirm the mental stability of assigned offenders 3. consult off-site with other stakeholders, i.e., Department of Mental Health as needed to address relevant mental health issues as defined and requested by the agency 4. work in conjunction with Community Supervision Officers, mental health teams and consultants to address issues impacting overall quality of mental health service delivery to offenders under CSOSA supervision 5. Assist with evaluations/consultations of offenders on an as-needed basis. The estimated period of performance will be from October 1, 2004 through September 30, 2005, with four one-year options; subject to the availability of funds.
