This is a REVISION to a notice of intent to increase the ceiling of contract N66001-03-D-5010 with Science Application International Corporation (SAIC) posted on 22 Feb 2007 and scheduled to expire on 09 Mar 2007. The contract currently provides for engineering and technical expertise and services in the identification of, research into, and exploratory developmental efforts involving emerging navigation technologies with potential for applicability in the areas of sensors and systems, and air and shipboard Command, Control, Communication, Computers and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) system technologies. It further includes requirements identification, program planning and execution necessary to implement emerging technologies (that is, to acquire, integrate, and test these technologies). The Contract also includes identification and implementation of laboratory enhancements required to evaluate these emerging technology advancements. The contract consists of a 3 year Base Period with 2 one year Option Periods and is currently in the second option period. This increase will include a ceiling increase of approximately $2.6 million CHANGED TO $6.1 million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes and is posted for 15 days from 22 February 2007 CHANGED TO: 07 Mar 2007. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
