As Senior MCA Threshold Plan Advisor, the individual will support activities that will prepare Moldova for full compact status with the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA) – these include both activities funded directly by the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and those funded by USAID. Though the Senior MCA Threshold Plan Advisor will report to the USAID Country Program Officer in Moldova and will be physically located in the USAID office Chisinau, Moldova, he/she will serve as an advisor to the U.S. Ambassador on all matters related to the MCA program in Moldova and will also coordinate with and represent the interests of other USG agencies actively involved with the threshold program in Moldova.The advisor will provide policy-level, technical and management assistance to USAID and other USG agencies at post, the Government of Moldova (GOM), private sector and NGO/PVO contacts. The advisor will manage and evaluate USAID/Moldova’s MCA Threshold Program, and support other anti-corruption activities as required.
