SUICIDE INTERVENTION AND TRAINING CERTIFICATION: The government
intends to negotiate a non-competitive, sole-source, commercial purchase order follow-on previously negotiated under F44650-01-P-0010 with Living Works Education for training of the Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) Program. These nonpersonal services will provide a self-sustaining suicide prevention program across Air Combat Command wings that will certify professional and non-professional personnel
to execute suicide intervention measures, both accessing risk of suicide and applying specific actions to intervene. For the purpose of uniformity, Living Works Education is the only source that can satisfy the Government?s requirements of inter Air Force and inter U.S. Services operability, as Living Works? ASIST program is already used for suicide intervention certification among professional and non-professional caregivers by the Air Mobility Command, U.S. Navy, and the U.S. Army. Living Works is the sole proprietor and certifier of trainers of the ASIST
program. This procurement is authorized in accordance with 10(C)USC 2304 (1). The proposed solicitation is for nonpersonal services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate
with only one sources under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation document exists. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or

A determination by the Government to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
