The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity proposes to award to 308 Systems, 4389 Roaring Fork Dr, Loveland, CO 80538 on a sole source basis, for warranties on TAC - PAK and NetPAk.

The warranties should include the following: Must meet or exceed the original factory warranty listed below. When delivered in new condition in the original container, was warranted against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of (1) one year from the date of original purchase. Warranty replacement shall not extend the original warranty period of the non-working TAC-PAK component. This limited warranty does not apply to any consumable, including without limitation ink cartridges and ink tanks, as to which there shall be no warranty or replacement.

This limited warranty covers all defects encountered in normal use of the TAC-PAK and does not apply in the following cases:

1) Loss of or damage to the TAC-PAK due to abuse, mishandling, improper packaging by you, alteration, accident, electrical current fluctuation, failure to follow operating, maintenance or environmental instructions, or service performed by other than 308 SYSTEMS.
2) Use of parts or supplies which cause damage to the TAC-PAK or cause abnormally frequent service calls or service problems.
3) If any TAC-PAK components have had their serial number or dating altered or removed.

This procurement shall be under other than full and open competition procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for a competitive quote. Any response to this notice must be submitted in writing to the Government and show clear and convincing evidence that another source is capable of meeting the Government's requirements and that competition of the requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no written responses are received at least fifteen (15) days after the publication of this response, the purchase will be awarded without further notice.
