The Federal Highway Administration plans to award a purchase order to the Transportation Research Board (TRB) to present a workshop entitled ?Visualization in Transportation. The workshop will be conducted at the Visualization in Transportation International Symposium at the Snowbird Resort in Salt Lake City, Utah on April 22-25, 2002. Because TRB developed and owns the workshop presentation, they are uniquely qualified to present the workshop. TRB is the only known source from which to acquire this presentation, and can most cost efficiently furnish the necessary personnel, equipment and services necessary to conduct the presentation. No other source possesses the knowledge required to present this workshop. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date in or about March 20, 2002.
