The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO)-16, in support of the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) intends to issue and award a Sole Source single award, Firm-Fixed Price type contract with a performance period of five (5) years to Planmatics Inc., 1 Research Ct., Suite 120, Rockville, Maryland 20850 for annual software maintenance service on government owned equipment nurse scheduling and acuity system at the MEDVAMC, located at 2002 Holcombe Boulevard, Houston, TX 77030. It has been determined that through initial Market Research, only one responsible source can provide the services required via the attached Scope of Work (SOW) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements .
