The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place a sole-source firm fixed price order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-11-G-0001 with The Boeing Company (Boeing) of St. Louis, Missouri 63166 for the procurement of twenty five (25) USSR kits developed under ECP 6318R1for the Royal Australian Air Force through the Foreign Military Sales Program. Deliveries will commence in 2013. The projected contract action is for supplies and/or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation document exists. Boeing is the designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft in its various configurations; and as such, is the only known firm with the knowledge, experience, and technical expertise required to accomplish this effort.
