The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis for the following Quantity 294 EACH; HiRel Screw Ratchet Assembly Kit and Quantity 2 EACH; HiRel Tool #10AT135 in accordance with FAR PART 12 and 13. This requirement is sole sourced to: HiRel Connectors Inc., 760 W Wharton Dr, Claremont, CA 91711 due to HiRel provided the proprietary design of the W9P2 connector during the development of the ADU-891(V) 1/E for ATK. Since HiRel is the original design authority and it is their proprietary design, they are the only qualified source for the modification kit. No other manufacturers are authorized to produce a retrofit kit for the W9P2 connector due to existing interface already in use. Any firms believing that they can provide a Quote for N6893617Q0018 may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
