Request for Information

The 700th Contracting Squadron intends to contract using other than full and open competition for the procurement of Internet Access for the 86 SVS/SVML on Ramstein AB. Accordingly, the Contracting Squadron intends to award a contract to TKS Telepost Kabelservice Kaiserslautern, Altes Forsthaus 2, Kaiserslautern, DE 67663. This contract will address the requirements of the 700th Contracting Squadron. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the posted deadline of this RFI will be considered by the Government. The Government will notify parties of the outcome of any proposal submitted in response. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
