In accordance with FAR subpart 6.302-1, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole purchase order to the University of California at San Diego in LaJolla, CA. The purpose of this procurement is to conduct rapid HCV testing, which will be added to the protocol of tests in which participants in STAHR are already participating. It is believed that the University of California at San Diego is the only vendor that has access to the rapid Hepatitis C tests needed in order to meet the time constraints of this requirement. Interested parties who feel that they possess the capabilities to provide the services described above should submit a capability statement demonstrating their abilities to provide the services. The information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive requirement.
