The General Services Administration (GSA), in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to Rathyeon Company, for two (2) Raytheon Micro Light Radio RTC- 1922 (G) refurbished radio systems.

The Raytheon Enhanced Position Location and Reporting System (EPLRS) Micro Light Model RTC -1922 radio assembly is an Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Direct Sequence Spectrum (DSSS) software defined radio.

Raytheon Company is the only manufacturer and reseller of the RTC- 1922 (C)(G) and specific ancillaries. This RTC -1922 (C)(G) is a fielded item an no other substitute is available.

Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement to the GSA within (14) calendar days of publication of this notice. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, GSA will proceed with the sole source award.
