This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.


The 309th Software Maintenance Group (SMXG) will purchase via sole source providor, Raytheon, the Solipsys specialty radar software.  This software is not made nor supported by any other company and is exclusively used in support of the BCS-F program.  Consideration for the use of other software other than Solipsys would result in repgroamming and reengineering costs that are unacceptable and cost prohibitive.
