The U.S. Department of Agriculture ( USDA ), Agriculture Research Service ( ARS ), Located at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York 14853-2901 - intends to award a sole source fixed price award to the vendor: Integrated Development and Manufacturing Company "Doing-Business-As" Environmental Growth Chambers located in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. The proposed award is being issued under Authority of FAR 6.302-1 ( b ) ( i ), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The "North American Industrial Classification Code" (NAICS ) Code is: 334516. This procurement shall be reserved exclusively for small businesses. An award will be made to the vendor that submits the lowest price and technically acceptable quote.

(USDA) requires a quantity of one each, of a: EGC Model GC-10H, Reach-in Plant Growth chamber ( Brand name or equal to), with the following minimum requirements:

1. Growth area, at least 10 square feet
2. Exterior dimensions: Height: 79 inches, Depth: 35 inches, and Width: 75 inches.
3. Interior Dimensions: Growing height needs to be at least 55 inches.
4. Shall provide upward airflow inside the chamber
5. Shall provide a door with a lock and a viewing window.

THIS NOTICE INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The purchase made will be made under simplified acquisition procedures, other than Full and Open Competition authorized by FAR 6.302-1, and Statutory Authority: 10 USC 2304 (C ) ( 1) as implemented by FAR6.302-1 Vendors who believe they can provide the above, are invited to submit substantiating documentation via email to [email protected] by no later than September 2, 2106 e.s.t.
