As part of this test development: USDA uses: RT-PCR Reagents and RNA extraction that are part of the official APHIS Protocols used by the National Animal Health Laboratory Network for these Diagnostic Tests. Therefore, USDA must only purchase the above requested kits, which have already undergone extensive validation during disease outbreaks.
