Bids will be received via PennBid until 10:00 a.m. local time on June 2, 2022 for reconstruction of Bridge 0407 in Mercer County Pennsylvania. Bids will be opened and publicly announced immediately after receipt of bids by a representative of the County Bridge Engineer in the Mercer County Bridge Department located at 104 Mortensen Road Greenville PA. Prequalification of bidders is required on this project as indicated in Specification Publication 408/2020, Section 102.01. Bidding documents are available online at no cost via PennBid. A bid security shall accompany each bid in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. Bid security shall be in the form of cash, a bid bond with corporate surety or a certified check (with no exceptions) payable to County of Mercer drawn on a bank authorized to do business in Pennsylvania. Further, the successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for performance and payment bonds and proof of insurance.
