RECOVERY THIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS ISSUED UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA). This contracting action is advertised under 8(a) SOLE SOURCE PROCEDURES. It is the intent of USFWS, Region 6 to award this action 8(a) sole-source. Description/Location: This project includes providing all materials, equipment, and labor required to perform safety modifications at four bridge sites as shown on project drawings to include installation of bridge rail, guardrail, guardrail end anchorages, and minor removals and repairs adjacent to and on the existing structures located at Quivira National Wildlife Refuge, KS. GENERAL INFORMATION The estimated magnitude of construction is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The total performance is 60 days from the Notice to Proceed. The NAICS code is 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, with a size standard of $33.5M. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on or about 14 August, 2009 with an anticipated closing date of 11 September, 2009.
