RECOVERY: COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR THE RENEWABLE HRB NORTH PARK BIOMASS The Bureau of Land Management, Colorado State Office, is soliciting for offers for the Recovery-HRB North Park Biomass. The receipt of the award is contingent on the recipient's meeting the requirements in Section 1512 of the Recovery Act. Description of Work: The purpose of this project is to conduct forest inventory using plot measurements and/or walkthrough surveys within individual forest stands. Walkthrough inventories will be conducted in 244 stands encompassing approximately 9,154 acres. In addition to the walkthrough inventory, plot exams will be conducted in 96 of the 244 stands. A total of 633 plots are distributed across the 96 stands. Location: The project area is located approximately 20 miles northwest of Walden, Colorado in the Independence Mountain area. This area is covered by the Independence Mountain and Pearl USGS Quadrangle Maps. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 115310, with a standard size of $7 million.
