THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT RECOVERY- Film production of a 16 minute and an optional 6 minute museum quality film, Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Skamania County, Amboy, WA, 98601 The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-0489-S-10-372 on or about March 29, 2010, for the RECOVERY Film production of a 16 minute and an optional 6 minute museum quality film, Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Skamania County, Amboy, WA, 98601. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after March 29, 2010, to obtain a copy of the solicitation. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201. However, the Forest Service reserves the right not to release a solicitation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION. The U.S. Forest Service, EROC-NW, servicing Region 6 has a requirement for Film production of a 16 minute and an optional 6 minute museum quality film, Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Skamania County, Amboy, WA, 98601. The contractor shall supply all services, labor, equipment and material, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals except those items, if any, listed as Government-furnished property needed to perform the following: Film production of a 16 minute and an optional 6 minute museum quality film in compliance with its terms, specifications, and provisions. The Government intends to award a negotiated firm fixed price contract. PROJECT LOCATION – 42218 NE Yale Bridge Rd, Amboy, WA 98601. Filming will be completed throughout the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Exact locations to be determined PARTICIPATION. This acquisition is a Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 512110. The size standard is $29 Million.
