This is an opportunity is available only to CGI Federal the current holder of a Task Order for the Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership System (PECOS) which is an operational system housed at the CMS Data Center. The Task Order was competitively awarded in 2004 and in accordance with FAR regulations. The purpose of this modification (action) is to register patients in the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH) incentive payment program, store registration information of participants and verify payment information as a safeguard to eliminate duplicate payments to Medicare and Medicaid providers using PECOS.
