RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. In accordance with FAR Part 5.7, Publicizing Requirements Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, this is a notification that the National Library of Medicine for Center for Information Technology (CIT), National Institutes of Health (NIH), intends to award a competitive Time-and-Materials (T&M) delivery order under GSA Federal Supply Schedule, Group 70, SIN 132-51. The period of performance will be for date of award through April 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011 with 7 successive one-year options. The base year will be funded using ARRA. Subsequent years will use Non-ARRA funding for the requirement entitled RECOVERY -Professional Services to Provide Cabling Installation and Network and Telecommunication Procurement Services for Building 10 F-Wing Phase A on the NIH Bethesda Campus. The purpose of this requirement is in support of the NIH mission, DNST requires a Siemon Company and Sumitomo Certified Contractor's services for the design and installation of cabling for the NIH Building 10 F-Wing, Phase A to support this NIH refurbishment. The task to be completed are as follows: installation of horizontal cabling, installation of conduit, fiber and copper riser cabling; build-out the main building network; build-out of 14th floor Tel/LAN room; procurement of ISDN power racks, installation of CATV infrastructure; procurement of network hardware, etc.. This requirement is being processed for CIT by the National Library of Medicine (NLM).
