Utilize Recovery Support Peer Specialist (RSPS) and Re-entry Peer Specialist (RSS), to increase the prevalence and quality of long-term recovery for individuals with opioid and stimulant use disorders; by enhancing quality of life, and increased social connections through sustained engagement in long-term recovery support services and to provide peer provided “Reach-in” and “Re-entry” support during and after incarceration. Recovery Support is intended to ensure incarcerated individuals with opioid and stimulant use disorder successfully transition from the county jail, prisons, and all other rehabilitative settings, into clinically appropriate community-based care and other services.
