The NIH Inpatient Pharmacy section in conjunction Pharmaceutical Development Services (PDS) is responsible for the temperature monitoring of all medication refrigerators in the Clinical Center. In addition to complying with all Joint Commission standards for the proper storage of drugs, study sponsors now require constant monitoring of storage conditions for their IND Investigational drugs This proposed purchase is to standardize our monitoring system for the medication refrigerators, thus it is critical that we expand the current REES system to include the new monitoring sites.

Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish bonafide capability and compatibility to fulfill the requirement. A schedule list is attached to the solicitation for examination if the need can be met.
The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System Code 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. with a size standard of 500 employees. The requirement is being processed in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures as stated in FAR 13.106-(b)(1).
