The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) at MacDill AFB issues this Sources Sought Synopsis for information only to locate sources who are capable. MacDill AFB, requires the following services to reinstall operational software and reconfigure system to archive and retrieve patient data for Kinetdx CWS 3000 system manufactured by Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. This Sources Sought is an advance notice for information and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System is 334510 and the size standard is 500 employees. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities, and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 12:00 PM local time on 7 August, 2009. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Sources shall include in their information, a detailed capabilities statement stating their experience in providing the same or similar work described in this notice, a point of contact with phone and e-mail information, business status (Socio-Economic Factors: 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business), business size based on NAICS 334510, and a positive statement of interest to submit a proposal.
