This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 requiring Contracting Officers to disseminate information for proposed contract actions expected to exceed $25,000. Further in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, it is the intent of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to make award to Remington.

The intended agreement will provide parts for Remington weapons currently being utilized by ICE. The original equipment manufacturer does not authorize other than OEM parts in Remington firearms. The use of parts other than those from the OEM will void existing warranties on weapons systems.

As a result, the original equipment manufacturer is the only responsible source to provide Remington parts for Remington weapons.
