The U.S. Army Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific has a requirement for remote medical coding services, coding/documentation feedback and training for the medical providers at the Bassett Army Community Hospital (BACH) on Fort Wainwright, Alaska. The successful contractor will be responsible for coding approximately 35% of the outpatient clinical workload (OB/GYN, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Physical Therapy, Optometry, and Emergency Department). The requirement includes 6 monthly focused audits using AHLTA (30 records) on select providers and clinics with a formal report on ICD-10-CM, CPT, and E/M compliance. Medical Care Providers will be offered the opportunity for a teleconference with the remote auditor. The Contractor shall provide Quarterly on-site training for one week, involving approximately 5 clinical areas per day. The Contractor must be familiar with working in an Application Virtualization Hosting Environment (AVHE), and shall comply with the AVHE guidelines. Vendors must show at least 3 years of coding experience, and at least 2 years of satisfactory experience working with military medical facilities.
