This announcement constitutes a Pre-Solicitation notice (synopsis) in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu District hereby announces its intent to issue a solicitation entitled, "FY18 Repair Building 2091, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii," as described within this announcement.

The Government intends to issue a formal solicitation via an Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with FAR Part 14, which will follow this announcement and will take place no sooner than 15 days from the publication of this announcement. Solicitation plans and specifications will be made available for viewing and/or downloading on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website located at https://www.fbo.gov/.

The Government intends to solicit this requirement as a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction). The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $36,500,000 average annual revenue. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract as a result of this solicitation.

Project Description: This is a design-bid-build to renovate Building 2091 to support the 25th Infantry Division (25ID) staff. Repairs will address communications, power, lighting, HVAC, partitions for security, privacy, and noise abatement.

The estimated performance of period is 450 calendar days. The project magnitude is $10,000,000 to $25,000,000.

A pre-bid site investigation will be conducted by the Government at Schofield Barracks, Oahu, Hawaii on August 24, 2018 at 10:00AM. More information on the site visit will be issued with the solicitation.

It is the bidder's responsibility to check for any posted changes to the solicitation.
