The United States Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to repair 1) NSN 2030-01-476-6301, davits, boat, boom, PN: D5700CT, qty 1 each, mfg. Allied Systems Company Inc. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination, USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room Bldg. 88; 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. All parts are to be OEM parts NO ALTERNATES. It is anticipated that a non competitive sole source purchase order will be issued to Allied Systems or one of their authorized repair facility. Interested sources that possess the capabilities of obtaining the required technical, engineering and manufacturing data for Allied Systems Co. Inc. and possess the capabilities of overhauling the above items can submit information regarding capabilities. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to repair the above items are invited to submit complete information discussing the same in duplicate within 1 days of this announcement. The information must include 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the subject parts (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics) or 2) Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily repaired for the government or the original equipment manufacturer. The data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the proposal relative to the above requirements. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. The submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. Request for Quotation (RFQ) HSCG40-09-Q-50129 shall be available for download from FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) on or about September 17, 2009. Quotations are due September 18, 2009 and it is anticipated that award will be made by September 21, 2009. Contractors shall use ORCA to electronically submit annual representations and certifications (REPS & CERTS) in accordance with FAR Clause 52.212-3. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor FEDBIZSOPPS for changes or amendments to the RFQ.
