Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The U.S. Coast Guard, Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center (SILC) in Norfolk, VA intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis a contract to FLIR Radiation, Inc. to provide repairs and maintenance on all IdentiFINDER-U (IDU), Radioisotope Identification Device (RIID) Units owned by the U.S. Coast Guard in accordance with the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. 

The solicitation will not be posted on FedBizOpps.  Although a determination has been made to limit competition to FLIR Radiation, Inc., all responsible sources may submit a capability statement to Pamela Barker at [email protected]. The capability statement shall indicate your firm's ability to repair and provide maintenance for all IdentiFINDER-U, Radioisotope Identification Device (RIID) units owned by the U.S. Coast Guard.

The applicable NAICS code for this action is 334519 (Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing) with a size standard of 500 employees.
