This is a sources sought notice seeking information from HUBZone, 8(a) and service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns that have an interest in submitting an offer on the subject project. The project includes, but is not limited to, replacing HVAC systems at the Combat Arms Training and Maintenance (CATM) building and Small Arms Range building with a ground source heat pump HVAC system. The system consists of nearby well field and multiple heat pumps to replace the existing HVAC units. New systems will utilize existing ductwork. All systems and associated equipment taken out of service shall be removed.
Should a Request for Proposal be issued, the magnitude is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. The resultant contract awarded from any contemplated solicitation will be a firm fixed price contract. This office is requesting that all interested and qualified HUBZone small business concerns, 8(a)contractors, and service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns respond to this sources sought notice with a capability statement and proof of HUBZone small business concern, 8(a)contractors, or service-disabled veteran-owned small business concern status. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. The government will utilize the following information in determining acquisition strategy: (1) summarize how your firm is uniquely capable and qualified to handle this type of construction; (2) summarize projects completed similar to the project outlined above. (3) statement of your current business size status under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 238220; small business size standard is $14 million.
