The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency intends to issue a firm fixed price order for Tactical FASTLANE maintenance for the Communications Security Program in Bethesda, MD. This is a sole source action with General Dynamics and/or its distributors in accordance with FAR 13.5, since they are the only sources capable of providing the required maintenance. The hardware includes 45 each FASTLANE KG-75A encryptors for which maintenance is required. The NAICS code is 541512. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
