NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (WSS) has a requirement for repairs of High Pressure Air Compressors (HPACs), NSN 2S 4310-01-353-6128, 2 EA and intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. A formal solicitation will not be issued. The Government will negotiate and award a sole source requirement to RIX Industries, part number 5R5-75A.
Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items.
