This is a sole source procurement to be negotiated with Real Carbon, Inc., of Hood River, Oregon, in accordance with the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source, as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1(a)(2).  The contractor will be required to evaluate and repair up to 71 Insensitive Munition Shield Assemblies, P/N 8411072.  The Shield Assemblies will be provided as Government Furnished Material. 

This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.  This synopsis is for informational purposes only.  This requirement is planned as a non-competitive, non-commercial Firm Fixed Price (Not to Exceed) Order.  Vendors who feel capable of providing the service stated above shall fully identify their interest and submit written data or other verifiable information that demonstrates conclusively their capabilities to provide the service within ten days of this notice.
