The U.S. Department of Agriculture is seeking a contractor to Replace the HVAC system at the USDA-ARS Catfish Building in Stoneville, MS.  The awarded contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, machinery, tools, materials, and supervision to remove existing air conditioning units, and associated materials, and provide new air conditioning units, grilles, registers, and diffusers, and other services to be identified in the solicitation package.

"This procurement requires the use of biobased products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet agency or relevant industry performance standards, and are reasonably priced.  Where available, these products should first be acquired from among qualified products that fall under the umbrella of items designated through the Federal Biobased Products Preferred Procurement Program (FB4P)"

These services shall be provided at the USDA, ARS, located in Stoneville, MS.  An IFB with complete specification requirements will be issued on or about July 14, 2008 with all bids being due at 2:00 p.m. August 13, 2008.  These dates are tentative and will be specified in the IFB package.  Again, all requests must be submitted in writing, faxed to (662) 686-5373 or by electronic mail to: [email protected].  No calls will be accepted.
