Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.603 Streamlined solicitation for commercial items as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 6. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-38. 7. This action is being set aside for small business participation. 8. BID SCHEDULE: Bids should include the following: All fittings, parts, materials and labor:Pump2:_______Pump3:_______Pump4:_______Pump6:_______Pump7:_______Testing: ______Permit fees: _______Clean up and disposal: ________ Specifications: The Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site uses a hot water boiler as its primary heating source. The boiler serves four levels with six circulator pumps and one pump for three levels of the Carriage House. The circulator pumps are critical for maintaining proper heat for staff and structure, particularly in a locale where winter lows can occasionally achieve single digit temperatures.The pumps have been replaced at varying points, resulting in a multiple generations of components in varying states of repair.Pumps are located in a basement boiler room. Replace failed or failing circulator pumps assemblies including impellors as follows: Pump 2 - 1/4 horsepower with sealed bearings, services first floor. Pump 3 - 1/4horsepower with sealed bearings services first floor. Pump 4 - 1/4horsepower, services third floor. Pump 6 - 1/6 horsepower with sealed bearings, services second floor. Pump 7 - 1/6 horsepower with sealed bearings, services second floor. All documentation including all product information, manufacturer and installer warranties, and Operation and Maintenance manuals shall be provided to the Owner upon project completion. Electronic documents must be in .pdf formats. Hard copies must be bound or otherwise packaged. IV. Schedule/ Time FramesThe project shall be completed before 45 days from the date contract is awarded All pumps shall be replaced with Taco (or similar) hydronic pumps.
