PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Santa Fe Springs as AGENCY, invites sealed bids for the above-stated project and will receive such bids in the City Engineer’s Office, City of Santa Fe Springs, 11710 Telegraph Road, Santa Fe Springs, California 90670, until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. Bids will be publicly opened and read at 11:30 a.m. in the City Council Chambers, located at 11710 Telegraph Road, Santa Fe Springs on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. Bidders or their authorized agents are invited to be present for the opening of bids. The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Plans and Specifications. The general items of work include, but may not be limited to, replacement of existing seven (7) baseball scoreboards, fourteen (14) baseball scoreboard posts and footings, one (1) indoor basketball scoreboard, and twelve (12) outdoor basketball backboards and rims, located in five (5) different Parks and Athletic Fields within the City. Removal, disposal and furnishing of new basketball scoreboard; new basketball scoreboard will tie into existing power. The new basketball scoreboard wireless receiver will be installed in a manner that will allow the existing controller to effectively communicate with the new scoreboard. Removal, disposal, and furnishing of new baseball scoreboards. The new baseball scoreboards will tie into an existing disconnect switch and will require new conduit and power wire. The existing baseball scoreboard post and footings will be removed, disposed, and replaced; backfilling of soil and compaction to allow proper installation of new footings and poles.
