BID NOTICE Replacement of Storm Drainpipe Notice is hereby given that the City of Americus, Georgia will receive bids at the City Clerk’s office, 101 W. Lamar Street Americus, Georgia until 5:00pm, July 12, 2023, for the following: GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS: To replace and install 185 feet of 24inch N-12 dual wall pipe also 3 storm drain grates will need to be installed at different locations along the pipe and tying it into existing pipe behind 120 Church to brick box in the Church parking lot and repair asphalt in damaged area of parking lot. (Approximately 40 x40) 6 inches of base rock and 3 inches of asphalt and some fill dirt may be needed behind 120 Church Street in Americus Ga. There will be a Pre-bid meeting open to all contractors on the site at 11:00 a.m. on July10, 2023, must be present to bid Exceptions shall be allowed if they are equal to or superior to the intent of the specification as written and provided, they are listed and entirely explained on a separate page entitled “Exceptions to Specifications”. If the bidder takes an exception, on the exception page, the bidder must state an option price to bring their specifications into full compliance with the department specifications.
