The Clarke County School District (“CCSD”) is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide and replace WALK-IN COOLER AND FREEZER EQUIPMENT for Cedar Shoals High School. Vendors shall provide equipment placement and/or repair as specified herein this document. 6.1. SPECIFICATIONS 6.1.1. FREEZER 6.1.1.1. Remove existing evaporator coil and repair and reseal all box penetrations. 6.1.1.2. Replace existing single coil (Heatcraft LET240BSWJ) with 2- coils appropriately sized coils. 6.1.1.3. Rerun all refrigerant piping and seal all box penetrations. 6.1.1.4. Relocated drains to run through exterior brick wall behind box. Insulated and heated as necessary. 6.1.1.5. Replace existing condensing unit (4hp) with 2 appropriately sized condensers. 6.1.1.6. Run new wire as necessary to handle load on outdoor equipment. 6.1.1.7. Relocate defrost timer to outdoor units. 6.1.1.8. Replace all (6, 4’double T12HO) florescent light fixtures in box with new LED fixtures. Rerun conduit and rewire as necessary. 6.1.1.9. Replace freezer door threshold and repair tile around bottom of door. 6.1.1.10.Replace door frame heater and repair heater track as necessary. 6.1.1.11.Replace door spring-loaded hinges. Re-hang door and replace door gasket as necessary to ensure proper operation and seal. 6.1.2. COOLER 6.1.2.1. Replace existing evaporator coil (Heatcraft ADT156ASWJ) with new coil appropriately sized. 6.1.2.2. Rerun and reseal all refrigerant lines. 6.1.2.3. Rerun condensate drain to run through exterior brick wall behind box. 6.1.2.4. Replace existing (2hp) condensing unit. Rewire from disconnect as necessary. 6.1.2.5. Install aluminum tread plate on inside front corners (4’ x 8’ bent around interior corners of box x 2) 6.1.2.6. Replace existing florescent light fixtures (3, 4’ T12HO) with new LED fixtures. Rerun conduit and rewire as necessary. 6.1.2.7. Ensure proper operation of all equipment and repairs.
