This is a request for information (RFI). This announcement is considered Market Research in accordance with FAR 10. This is not a solicitation for proposals and there is no solicitation available at this time. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this RFI, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. This RFI does not constitute a commitment from the Government and any information provided in response to this RFI will be used for informational purposes only. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. Vendor participation is not a promise for future business with the Government.

DLA Troop Support, Philadelphia, PA anticipates soliciting a competitive procurement for the Cloth, Gabardine: Wool, Polyester/Wool, Type II Class 12, Sky Blue MC Shade 2319, Mothproofed, Sponged NSN 8305-01-248-0977, Product Group Code (PGC) 91762 in accordance with MIL-DTL-10176L. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery-type contract to a single awardee. The period of performance is a 12 month base period with four (4) 12 month option terms. The estimated quantities for the base period and each option term for the Cloth are listed below. Destination will be Peckham Inc. located in Lansing, MI. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) is 313210 - Broadwoven Fabric Mills. Small business size standards matched to industry NAICS codes are published by the Small Business Administration and are available at http://www.sba.gov/content/table-small-business-size-standards. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at System for Award Management (SAM) http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for an award. Representations and certifications must also be on record. The Production Lead Time (PLT) for the initial order inclusive of a First Article requirement of 2,000 yards will be 330 days after contract award/delivery order issuance with subsequent delivery orders being 210 days. If First Article requirement is waived, PLT is reduced to 210 days for the initial order.
