The City of Cameron requests qualifications for preliminary architectural services and subsequent architectural design services to assist in a proposed project to be financed with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-CV) funds. The project consists of interior and exterior improvements, including ADA improvements, to the Cameron Community Center located at 915 N. Ashland Dr., Cameron, MO 64429. Information provided to the City must include: 1. The specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to related work. 2. The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in question, including specialized services, within a period of twelve months beginning November 2021. 3. The past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules. 4. The firm's proximity to and familiarity with the area in which the project is located. 5. References from previous clients of related work with the firm within the past five years. 6. Documentation of compliance with E-Verify requirements. The firm will be selected based on the above qualifications. Please limit RFQs to no more than three pages. Once the most qualified firm is selected, a cost for preliminary architectural report will be negotiated separately from the cost for architectural design. The ability of a firm to begin work immediately shall receive primary consideration. The above information should be submitted no later than December 16, 2021, 5:00 p.m., Cameron City Hall, 205 N.
