The Madison Metropolitan School District, Madison School & Community Recreation Department, requests bids for Fast Pitch and Slow Pitch Softballs. The agreement/contract term for this bid is one year. Delivery of softballs will not be accepted prior to March 20, 2017. Delivery must be completed no later than April 7, 2017; F.O.B. Madison, WI 53718; one lot shipment. All softballs must be fresh. Balls must be stamped “MSCR” on cover in letters at a minimum of ¼” in height. Each ball should be individually boxed/wrapped. Bulk shipment or blister packs are NOT acceptable. ASA, USSSA, or ISC identification stamp is not required. Fast pitch balls have a cork center, while slow pitch balls have a poly core center. Awards shall be made on the basis of the lowest unit price or net lot total price, which is judge to be in the best interest of the District. Multiple awards may be made. Supplier must be an authorized Diamond dealer.
