HOFFMAN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY OF OREGON RESER STADIUM WESTSIDE COMPLETION BID PACKAGE: BP#4 - STEEL & FIRE SUPPRESSION PRE-BID MEETING: 1:00 P.M., SEPTEMBER 14, 2021 BIDS DUE: OCTOBER 6, 2021 AT 2:00 P.M. REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Hoffman Construction Company of Oregon has been selected as the Design Builder ("Contractor") for the Reser Stadium Westside Completion ("Project") being performed for Oregon State University ("Owner"). We invite you to submit requests sub-bid proposals for Bid Package BP#4 - Steel & Fire Suppression. A non-mandatory, but strongly encouraged, pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for 1:00 p.m., September 14, 2021 at the Reser Stadium East Lodge, 660 SW 26th Street, Corvallis, OR 97331. Attendees are to meet in the East Stadium Lodge on Level 2. Enter via the elevators on the east side of the stadium. Statements made at the pre-bid meeting by representatives of the Contractor, Owner, Architect, Engineers, and/or others are not binding and do not change the RFP documents or bidding require ments unless such statements are confirmed by written Addendum to the RFP. Proposals must utilize the specified PROPOSAL FORM and be submitted as a single file (less than 10MB) to
[email protected], no later than 2:00 p.m., OCTOBER 6, 2021. A completed Subcontractor/Vendor Ques tionnaire including latest year-end safety and financial information must accompany the proposal unless previously submitted. Ques tionnaire may be attached as a separate file or submitted separately. Elaborate proposals or the inclusion of non-essential information e.g. market ing/promotional material, safety manuals, resumes, etc. is strongly discouraged. Proposals that are materially incomplete, do not include current Question naire with latest year-end safety and financial infor mation (unless previously submitted), are directed to other locations or received after the bid deadline will not be considered. Bidders must be properly licensed with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board ("CCB") at the time of bid. Bidders are required to file a $30,000 Public Works Bond with the CCB in accordance with ORS 279C.836 EXCEPT exemptions allowed under paragraphs (7) or (8) will not be permitted. Due to the scheduled start of the work, the $30,000 Public Works Bond must be on file with the CCB at the time of bid. This is a prevailing wage project. Bidders must comply with requirements of the prevailing wage law in ORS Chapter 279C. A Contractor Controlled Insurance Program ("CCIP") for on-site operations is being provided for general liability and workers compensation.
