HOFFMAN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY OF OREGON RESER STADIUM WESTSIDE COMPLETION BID PACKAGE: BP#5 - ALL OTHER WORK PRE-BID MEETING: 1:00 P.M., SEPTEMBER 21, 2021 BIDS DUE: OCTOBER 13, 2021 AT 2:00 P.M. REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Hoffman Construction Company of Oregon has been selected as the Design Builder ("Contractor") for the Reser Stadium Westside Completion ("Project") being performed for Oregon State University ("Owner"). We invite you to submit requests sub-bid proposals for Bid Package BP#5 - All Other Work. A non-mandatory, but strongly encouraged, pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for 1:00 p.m., September 21, 2021 at the Reser Stadium East Lodge, 660 SW 26th Street, Corvallis, OR 97331. Attendees are to meet in the East Stadium Lodge on Level 2. Enter via the elevators on the east side of the stadium. Stadium gates will be open. Due to circumstances related to COVID-19 it is requested that only one (1) person per company attend the in-person pre-bid. Masks must be worn. For those that prefer a virtual option, register for pre-bid meeting at: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/regis ter/1259632824229891855 Statements made at the pre-bid meeting by representatives of the Contractor, Owner, Architect, Engineers, and/or others are not binding and do not change the RFP documents or bidding requirements unless such statements are confirmed by written Addendum to the RFP. Bidders are hereby advised that an affiliate of Contractor intends to submit a proposal for the drywall work (Bid Item #3) in response to this RFP. Bids for drywall Bid Item #3 MUST be emailed directly to the Owner at bids@oregon state.edu no later than 2:00 p.m., October 13, 2021. Bidders to note, Owner has 24 hours from due date/time to disclose results to Contractor. Proposals must utilize the specified PROPOSAL FORM and be submitted as a single file (less than 10MB) to
[email protected], no later than 2:00 p.m., OCTOBER 13, 2021. A completed Subcontractor/Vendor Questionnaire including latest year-end safety and financial information must accompany the proposal unless previously submitted. Questionnaire may be attached as a separate file or submitted separately. Elaborate proposals or the inclusion of non-essential information e.g. market ing/promotional material, safety manuals, resumes, etc. is strongly discouraged. Proposals that are materially incomplete, do not include current Questionnaire with latest year-end safety and financial infor mation (unless previously submitted), are directed to other locations or received after the bid deadline will not be considered. Bidders must be properly licensed with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board ("CCB") at the time of bid. Bidders are required to file a $30,000 Public Works Bond with the CCB in accordance with ORS 279C.836 EXCEPT exemptions allowed under paragraphs (7) or (8) will not be permitted. Due to the scheduled start of the work, the $30,000 Public Works Bond must be on file with the CCB at the time of bid. This is a prevailing wage project. Bidders must comply with requirements of the prevailing wage law in ORS Chapter 279C. A Contractor Controlled Insurance Program ("CCIP") for on-site operations is being provided for general liability and workers compensation.
