The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for Reservation Support Services. Accordingly, the TSA intends to extend the current contract with A-TEK Incorporated for a period of six months. This extension will provide for continued Reservation Support Services under the current contract until the process of converting the support positions from contractor staff to federal government positions can be completed. The proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within thirty days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. The government will notify parties of the outcome of any proposal submitted in response. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
