U.S Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting with BAE Systems, Aerospace & Defense Group, 7822 S 46th ST, Phoenix, AZ 85044-5313, for 7 each, Restraint Systems, P/N 112409-1 for the MH-60L Aircraft Fielded for USSOCOM. The proposed actions is for items that are designed, developed and manufactured by BAE Systems and the Government does not own drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Firms that feel they can provide this item, or equal, are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal, however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date (in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The estimated release date of the solicitation is May 12, 2010.
