The Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health is issuing this Request for Applications (RFA) to expand the participation of Psychiatric Urgent Care Centers (UCC). Expansion of the UCC contractor pool will enable DMH to decompress County and private hospital emergency departments and help to mitigate avoidable incarcerations by providing an alternative for each individual served to participate in the development of an individualized plan, focused on recovery and wellness principles that will promote successful re-integration into the community. Interested and qualified Applicants that can demonstrate their ability and qualifications to successfully provide the requested services outlined in Appendix B (SOW), are invited to submit an application provided they meet the mandatory requirements.
