SEPARATE sealed BIDS for the Murdock, Faraday, & Maury Streets Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation project will be received by the Public Works & Engineering Department of the City of Alcoa, Tennessee at the Public Works Offices, 725 Universal Street, Alcoa, Tennessee until 2:00 p.m., Local Time, on the 10th day of December, 2020 and then at said place publicly opened and read aloud. The work of this contract generally consists of the following: Installation of 2,505 LF of 12” & 8” sanitary sewer main by slip-lining, pipe bursting, and open cut methods; replacement 10 existing manholes and installation of 5 additional manholes; restoration/installation of 4 each lateral line connections, and installation of 121 LF of 15” & 18” RCP storm pipe, 6 storm catch basins, and 1 storm manhole complete in place, including all required appurtenances; and abandonment/elimination of 6 sanitary sewer manholes and 1 storm water manhole.
