The City of Oxnard (City) is requesting proposals to secure an experienced vendor to receive organic material such as yard trimmings, wood waste and food waste collected by the City to process and convert the materials into products such as, but not limited to, mulch, compost wood chips, soil amendments, etc., and to market those products, or use the materials for cultivation on agricultural property, in a responsible and effective way. The vendor will also ensure the City is in compliance with its annual organic waste product procurement target by providing qualified mulch and compost for direct use by the City, to giveaway to residents and to contracted direct service providers.
