This sources sought is a market research tool being used to determine potential sources that are capable of providing the services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP).
The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this sources sought.
The Government seeks industry input on the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW).
Specifically, the Library wishes to know the following:
1. Is the draft SOW clear and comprehensive enough for offers to be made? Please provide areas of the SOW that need clarification and/or more information.
2. Are the maintenance services described in the SOW technically feasible? What technical hurdles, if any, are there?
3. Is your company capable of fulfilling all, or some, of the required Audio, Video, Film equipment and Logistics services?
4. Does your company have a schedule with GSA or a GWAC, such as NASA SEWP and NITAAC? Please include contract number.
Please include relevant experience and expertise in the technical capability statement.
INTRODUCTION
The National Audio Video Conservation Center (NAVCC), Library of Congress (LOC), is the largest repository of audio and video collections and maintains various audio/visual equipment. Currently, NAVCC has approximately 4000 audio/visual machines that require maintenance and support in order to be fully operational.
The Government anticipates the requirement to result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract.
Period of Performance: one Base Year and four Option Years.
